please take a moment

i have no idea what so many people found wrong with john kerry. the man is intelligent, has a lovely family, and simply speaking with more than a monosyllabic vocabulary should not exclude a candidate from the presidency. he has been a public servant for decades and appears to have integrity (as much as possible in dc) and he knows a bit about foreign policy:

"We must listen and lead by example because even a nation as powerful as the United States needs some friends in this world. We need a leader who understands all our security challenges, not just bombs and guns, but global warming, global terror and global AIDS."

His message is on point.

I think they despise him because he allowed himself to be swiftboated and did not fight back. In a macho world, this makes him look weak and unworthy.

Kerry is a good man! The right slandered him and it worked.
After listening to all the speeches at the DNC of which Kucinich's was the most phenomenal they should have Obama on a pedestal but after hearing that the slander you hear at the RNC will dwarf the DNC!
Knowing Bush and the rest of the right scum will all be speaking up I cringe thinking about how bad this will get. I only hope Dems are ready with an instant come back!

Kerry's awesome - he merely took the tried and true high road of Democrats in a day and age when that no longer works. Until tonight, many assumed Barack Obama was on the same path!

Damn! Is it just me, or have all the speeches in this convention been spectacular?

Why he didn't speak like this during his own campaign is perplexing!
