of big hair, blazers and stirrup pants

ahh... the 1980's. i loved heart. chicks who could play and were the lead singers of their own band! pat benetar and joan jett- loved them all. being a teenager in the 80's there was plenty of angst and boyfriend problems- so the sappier the song- the better. :) 'these dreams' was one of my faves- and i had my share of blazers and jeans with high heels :) my cousin went more for the madonna look with the stretchy layers and jelly bracelets with lace. ahhh- those were the days...

what about love?

What about XL "man shirts" and the wrap around belt!

I loved my stirrups, had 'em in every color I could find!

And of course, chicks who rocked were THE best!

We won't even go "there" in regards to boyfriend issues ;)

Great choice. They definitely rocked. they deserve more credit than they have been given.

great stuff...The nostalgia does one of two things to me depending on the moment... 1. I smile. 2. I throw up...

The 80's, of which I was a teen and then an adult, were to me a mix of "fun fun fun" and in retrospect, what the hell were (was) we (I) thinking?! :>)

I spent the 80's chasing those twitching asses in high heels and jeans....and same in stirrups - WHEN they fit!

I still have nightmares about a four foot wide ass rolling by like fifty pounds of jello in a thirty pound ziplock! Oh Jesus! (Shudder!:)
