laying it out in lavender

because it might not grow anymore soon. you know what- here's the deal- i don't care particularly about hurting people's feelings. not that i have to my knowledge- but whatever. if you have delicate sensibilities- you are going to be really hurt and left out. this planet isn't going to get better. there simply aren't enough people fomenting for change to at the very least slow global climate change- and our way of life isn't sustainable. the neocons and right wingers are only about the now- with little to no care for the future. these elections coming up mean exactly shit. zero. bupkus. we are simply changing the guard. please- do feel hopeful for the future if that's what you need to get through the day. the grassroots folks- hey good for you- it's too little too late- but you keep on keepin' on.

the bottom line is- we all need to learn to be self sufficient- grow our own food; capture our own water and rely on ourselves. the time is fast approaching when saying or writing or doing anything against the government won't be prudent. if you are still under the impression that the constitution is intact and matters- i feel sorry for you. i am not a conspiracy theorist; i am not apathetic; and i don't read articles that inspire either. foreign news reports reality. american news spreads nationalistic propaganda. people who continue to believe in saving this nation should redivert their energies to saving the planet. this country is over.

The wise will survive, but millions will perish.....what a shame.

hey b,

I guess I just try to have a positive outlook. It's not that I have to do it to get through the day. I honestly believe that there are more good people in the world and our country than bad.

maybe I am wrong. I just try to see the good in people. yeah, I have been hurt many times because of it, but I feel like I am letting go of my ideals if I stop trusting completely.

we will see after november. I do think Obama and Hillary both want to change things for the better. I hope they do.

betmo, I was thinking about all my blog friends, and wanted to stop by and wish you a very Happy Valentine's Day. These are, indeed, very hard times for us all. Regards from your Texas friend, Carol
