gonzales is a skulker

"Gonzales was at the university to deliver a lunchtime speech, a visit that was unannounced to students. But word spread quickly after his motorcade and security detail were spotted."

if he has nothing to hide, and he is telling the truth, and the prez has so much faith in him and gave him support,-----then why is alberto sneaking around to make his speeches? especially at a place he allegedly feels at home at? kudos to the students who mobilized so quickly. methinks the number of protesters were 1) deliberately downplayed and 2) small but would have been much more of an embarrassment had he been announced. who was he speaking to that the students were kept in the dark? probably wealthy donors to the rethug cause- i can't imagine that he was speaking about law- given that he can't remember shit. hope he wrote his speech down on a napkin or something.

"The departure was clearly undignified," said Thomas Becker, a second-year law student who wore the black hood and orange jumpsuit during the protest. "He looked really annoyed."

well, alberto- so are we. annoyed that you haven't been charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity.

"say torture", i love it.

i'd hate for ridiculous scenes like this to turn him into joke though, because he is far from that, isn't he? a complicit idiot is still complicit.

Gonzales needs to go. I don't know why bush keeps him around when even many conservatives want him out.

the only thing I can think of is that bush is afraid he will write a nasty little book and bad mouth him like Tenet and so many other have done.

is it November 2008 yet?
