sounds good to me

unity08.com

this sounds like just what folks need to be able to get behind some viable third party candidates. this sounds like an option to disenfranchised voters everywhere. this sounds like maybe hillary and rudy might want to pay attention.

The thing I was thinking of this morning is to find a way to convince people, not of which major or minor party to vote for, but to at least get them to all register independant. You know, keep the parties from expecting your vote.

I definitely could go for this.

this looks very interesting, I just scanned thru it. I can't wait to really read it and absorb it.

The next third party will be a Perot type conservative party, because the GOP is discredited for decades to come.

I love this idea since neither party is listening.

However, the problem comes with getting enough money to successfully compete. The party money is sadly quite important to most candidates...it would take a completely new tactic to raise money apart from the party....IF one wants to get elected, one must get the press attention and ad space.

Americans just will not vote for an unknown.

Will there even be elections in 2008?

all fine, fine questions and observations. landsker- don't know. i guess i am hopeful. i just think it is a good thing that folks are thinking about really sinking their teeth into more than two parties. this is the first big attempt- and while it isn't perfect- it's a start. i am just thrilled that online is being attempted. my husband wanted to do that in 2012- he won't be old enough until then.
