Sanger truly is a woman to admire and emulate.

I've always said (of today's "pro-life" movement) what a shame it is that their interpretation of God allows people free will but they do not.

Then again, the men who are pulling all the strings in the right-to-life campaign believe that women are little more than chattel. Too bad the women in the RTL can't see that for themselves.

Thanks for the link & Introduction!

Sadly, although I agree as to the "male manipulation" here in the midwest, I hear all too many women agreeing.

Although male, I do not agree with this thinking.

I'm very sad too that so many women out here still agree with "giving up their rights." ; (

"Born into an Irish working-class family, Margaret witnessed her mother's slow death, worn out after 18 pregnancies and 11 live births."

That really says it all, doesn't it?

Without her efforts, we would be living in another age - about 100 years ago or similar to that age supported by the right wing religious.

I had not heard of her before. Thanks Betmo. The equivalent figure here in the UK is Marie Stopes.
