open thread friday- anniversary edition

well, i woke up this morning- way too early- to my furnace producing gas odors and making me a wee lightheaded. i did crack a window and i am waiting for the nice furnace folks to arrive. it was a year ago today- and many posts ago- that i started my journey. i took it upon myself to go to blogger and jump in- after being inspired by my geeky computer friend- and she knows who she is! :) i don't aim to get very mushy because i am not a real touchy feely mushy kind a gal- but i did want to thank all of my readers and commenters- past and present- and hopefully future :) for coming by and sharing of yourselves. i hope i have contributed to the world in some way with my humble blog- and i hope to continue to do so. so- back into the fray:

homeland security wastes our money yet again
why would anyone think that there would be a mass exodus of cuban refugees here? our democracy is in shambles,;our economy is faltering and right now the cuban folks have universal healthcare. please. the 'immigration policy' of the neo cons not only involves keeping folks out- it is also an 'emmigration policy' designed to make it harder for us to get out. keep that in mind as you stand in line to board your next flight to wherever. things keep on keepin' on with the cheney admin- and people here will want to flock to canada in droves. lord knows they won't want us in mexico.

Congrats on your anniversary. Yeah, a little mushy feely group hug thing there, but not too bad.
