the birds are chirping and the snow is melting- and the mud is spreading- must be spring. i can smell it in the air! i have no idea what the forecast brings for the weekend- but i am hoping to get some yardwork done. as odd as this sounds- i can't wait to start spring cleaning either. i like the fact that i am banishing the dust balls and airing out the germs of a shut in winter. it is like a purge- and indeed many of the dark thoughts of winter flee when i get to open the windows. that- and the cats leave me alone. they are content to watch the birds out of the windows and don't nag for treats :)

i wush i had the time for spring cleaning which for me usually happens in the fall because of baseball but I love the spring and can't wait for the warm up

Ah Grape Hyacinths... I was delighted to get a waft of the glorious honey scent coming off our Mahonia (oregon grape). Ah Spring, sumer wont be far and then I'll be moaning about teh few days when it is too muggy to sleep propely!
Hooray! spring is here and the world is warm and happy again. Beautiful flowers.
It's absolutely beautiful today. My area of Michigan busted its high temperature record from the 1950's today!
I was productive the period my computer was down.
