minimum wage

there isn't a direct link- but if you go here- and look on the left sidebar- you can click on the window that will show you different minimum wages around the world. i found it interesting and just wish that there would have been more countries on the map.

I found it. Pretty interesting. I wonder what is their point? Do they mean that people with min. wages in the U.S. should be happy? There is also the value of the dollar within the U.S. to consider. I know, even with that our workers are a bit better off, but still we have to stop the wide gap between the "have it all crowd" and the "don't have nothin' crowd".

My thought on the minimum wage, is that it should be able to vary, company to company, instead of being a fixed dollar amount everywhere. It should be calculated as a fixed percentage of the highest paid individual at every company. When the CEO gets a wage increase, everybody gets a wage increase. Seems only fair to me.

Wow. That was very interesting (I almost missed the little box, myself). It does put a few things in perspective.
