thought for tuesday

"Most people assume the fights are going to be the left versus the right, but it always is the reasonable versus the jerks."

Damn boo, you should get an award for that. Perfect!

I may be bright enough to match the saying with the topic - but not to come up with them...

:D

right on! Bring out the foot, preferably one with a steel toe.

who's the reasonable and whos the jerks?

lol, does this become a circular argument... like a self-licking icecream cone?

billie said...

open to interpretation :)

"self-licking ice cream cone"....

haven't heard that before... *scratching head, looking perplexed*

g....take your pick. You know which ones I think are the jerks, and I have a good guess which ones you'll choose. :)

Batmo....Get over to my blog and answer that question on the Monday Morning Tour post, please? You have me confused.

boo..That is a beautiful tat.

Great quote(s) on this Thoughtful Tuesday.

ahh, sxsw, the festival from my hometown.

excellent quote, boo, had to add my props.

I agree with Mr. Wales as well, but I do not think all of America will be able to agree on who is who...

happy tuesday, betmo!

Ha! I called you Batmo....Maybe I can make it stick.

spado, I dont assign a letter to preface someone as Jerk or Reasonable though... I'm hoping you dont either ;p

Boo:

It's a circular argument.. the icecream cone licks itself, thus filling itself back up with more icecream, to lick....
you get the idea.

oh, and Boo: The expression can also be used to mean something redundent..

think:

Redundency Department of Redundency.

LOL an excellent observation on Jimmy Wales's part. It is rather sobjective depending on one's stance of course (for me there are plenty of jerks on both sides but on balance more on the right than the left)

Boo that is a good one! I love it and will almost certainly swipe it for personal use!

that is precisely why i like having you here publius. i do like to hear your side and although i don't often agree- there have been moments where we have shared a similar view on subjects. i am sure folks on your 'side' feel that i am a jerk. i simply don't let it bother me :)

thank you G... I pretty much had it figured out - just being a smartass.

Spado - thank you... if you're interested - here's the rest http://boos-tattoos.blogspot.com/2006/08/fluffy-stuff.html

betmo,

What would you think about some of us, maybe about 5 or so, starting a blog.

I was kinda kicking the idea around and when I read the post about the presidential run I thought it might be good exposure if some of us pooled all of our readers together.

I have several domains reserved that I am not using, but I know very little about website design. I could contribute one of my domains, someone else could do the design, we would all have equal access for posting, etc.

Just wanted to see what you think. I just wanted to make sure to get across that we would all be equals whether we just contributed posts or a domain, or web design.

One good domain I have registered is www.blogfriends.us

I think it would be better to have someone with the know how design a site rather than use blogger, but we could use blogger and do a forward from the domain.

just something to ponder. no hurry. I am starting back to school tomorrow and still working also.

email me at shawn@justiceblog.net if that is easier.
