It's still summer in full bloom down here in Florida. I'm looking forward to cooler days and football season. But most of all I'm looking forward to the end of hurricane season. I can't hold my breath much longer.
shawn- you are a poet in the making:) no way man! i am hording the beautiful weather for now! :) after the flooding and heat wave- i am enjoying as long and as much as possible. this is my favorite time of year- late summer to late fall. winter isn't as bad as it used to be when i had to drive more.
I love Spring because its a resurgence of life and I know Summer is coming. Summer is my favorite. I don't mind Fall, but in the back of my mind the shorter days and dew/fog filled mornings remind me that Hell, er I mean Winter is coming. I hate Winter! It represents death of nature, gloominess, misery and depression for me.
