anyone else think this is strange?

what is happening in iraq? weren't they supposed to pay for our war with their oil? where is the oil, gas and money? apparently, the folks in iraq not only don't have regular electricity, sanitation, clean water, and food, but they too are out of gas

Just another sad example of how most of us were misled into this war. Some caught on much sooner than others. I am ashamed to admit, that although I was never for going into Iraq, I was also not vocal enough about being against it.

btw, thanks for the heads up on the "unclaimed territory." Good stuff. I just wish I had more hours in the day......... sigh.

Oh, and I just saw gas at $4.29 a gallon at a station in Orange County. Hmmmm.

You know, gas prices have little to do with crude supply, and a whole lot to do with refined capacity and then of course the taxes (Fed and local).

I think that it's been quite a nice deflection tactic our govn't has taken to drive the angst over gas prices on to the "Arab oil baddies" and off of the handicapping legislation over refining and distributing gas, as well as the enormous ammount of taxs already laid on ever precious gallon our cars drink down.
